As representatives of German car companies in China, pre-tax profit reached 2.03 billion euros compared with 1.19 billion euros in 2010′s first quarter. International sales rose 17% to about 24.7 billion euros. Mercedes hopes sales will increase more with the upgrade of the C-Class and SLK.

Mercedes expects to reach 1.3 million units in 2011 from the previous year was 1.28 million units. Orders up 13% in the first quarter to 281,000 vehicles sold. Of which the S-class line growth of 25%. Rival Audi increased 18%. In China, Audi remains the leading company in the luxury segment.
Mercedes will introduce a new version of the B-class later this year. The company will build a plant in Hungary to expand markets, as well as investment to attract consumers to the cars capable of fuel economy.
Mercedes will soon introduce M class SUV version 2011.
